What Causes High BP Post Colonoscopy?

I am a 70 year old male with one heart stint from 5 years ago. Presently taking amlodipine and metropolol. Had a Colonoscopy performed today and it is now about 12 hours from the procedure. Had elevated blood pressure 150 over 90 right before procedure but now it is running 172 over 90. Amlodipine is usually taken in the A.M. but I took a second dose 30 minjutes ago along with one 325mg Aspirin. What would be the appropriate action at this time if blood pressure stays where it is.Do not have any chest pains or other notable symptoms.
