What Causes Hiccups And Cough While Suffering From High BP?
I have been running a strangely intermittent high blood pressure for the past two days. It started out like I had something caught in my throat. Coughing, belching or hiccuping caused the pain to elevate and the blood pressure went up too. I suffer M.S. and other problems and my B/P has always gone up with the pain. I have so many signs of a stroke as well.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Hiccups and cough what you are experiencing could be due to side effect of medication what you are taking for blood pressure. Some of the class of anti-hypertensive medications could cause such type of side effects. Kindly review with your Physician regarding this and change to blood pressure lowering medications which would suit you. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
