What Causes Heavy Weight Gain After Taking Eltroxin Tablet For Thyroid?
Hi Doctor, I have a thyroid problem for about 7 years I am on 150 mg of Eltroxin per day, but I have gained a lot of weight and I find it very hard to loose it, my granddad had his removed and my aunt suffered with it all her life, I also have a tingle one side of my face and in my leg on same side it comes and goes my G.P. said it has nothing to do with it. I get my bloods done regular. So now I am wondering it mine regulated at all. My granddad and aunt were lucky to have the thin one. I am 56. What do you think. Regards thank you. Maria

I really appreciate your concern, if the weight is the concern then you have to reduce the calorie in diet and do some exercise that is the only thing you could do, if this is the genetic one then nothing can be done hope this information helps.
