What Causes Heavy Periods With Lower Back Cramping Post Rough Sex?

I had sex (rough and deeper penetration than I m used to) for the first time in two years two weeks ago. 5 days later, I began bleeding heavily and having menstrual cramps more uncomfortable than normal. It s now going on 9 days later and I m still bleeding on and off, but not enough to use a tampon. I still have lower back cramping. I just started birth control and this is my 3rd month, didn t have much of a period the last two months. My regular period per my birth control should have started two days ago. Should I see a doctor?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be much hormone changes and it is due to hormone therapy and some time could be due to age too if you are above 35 years old, it is better to see the doctor because with some limited information it is difficult to advise in proper way hope this information helps.
