My 80 year old gentleman friend has experienced heaviness in the chest today (and during the night). He found it difficult to sleep on his right side last night, and experienced heaviness while on a walk outdoors today. He stopped several times to recover. Is this an emergency, or will it wait until he sees his family doctor soon. He is currently dealing with some unresolved heart issues (rapid heart beat and angina). He is on meds: Toloxin for an abnormal heart beat, Xarelto - a blood thiner, Sandoz Beta Blocker to reduce heart workload, and help it beat more regularly. Thank you for your help. Mary
