What Causes Heat Rashes All Over The Body While On Meloxicam?

Within 24 hours and 2 doses of meloxicam 15 mg, by body broke out in a rash, kind of like a heat rash. It might even just be a sensitivity to the medication while in the heat, which I work in all day. So, I have never had a rash like this before, but it seems to be worse in areas that I had clothing, like my ankles with socks and boots and my hips and bottom sides of arms. Could this be a reaction or a coincidence?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having meloxicam induced urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Stop taking meloxicam or any other medications without consulting a doctor.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
