I have pain like heart burn only severe when i exert, walking briskly, walking up an incline, sweeping with a push broom, weight lifting.The pain wells up and immobilizes me and takes my breath away. I can get it to momentarily stop by pressing in on my in directions once or twice, but as soon as I exert again it comes write back. I test negative for the ulcer bacteria, does not hurt while I am sitting. Nexium ot zantac does not help. It helps if I belch. The symptoms have gradually gotten worse over 3 years. At first it was like GERD, then it would hurt mildlley when I ran but would quit after 2 miles as I train for 1/2 marathons. Now if I attempt to walk fast It stops me completely.
