What Causes Heart Rate Of 67 BPM With Recurring Chest Pains?

Is it normal for your heart rate to be around 67 BPM? I sometimes get chest pains, but not too strong. At school, we took a drink that my friend made. It was her own energy drink. I took a little sip (about 25mL). It contained natural sugar, ginger, carrot juice, lemon, and apple juice. After I drank the drink, I began to experience chest pains, but a little.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Heart rate of 67 is well within the normal range( normal range is 60- 100). If you experience chest pain, an ECG may be taken to rule out conditions like angina.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
