What Causes Heart Palpitations With Fluttering After Sleep?

After about 5 or 6 hrs sleep - I awake with a rapid heartrate or a fluttling feeling in my chest. That happens when I am sleeping on my left or right side. All I have to do to stop the rapid heartrate is ly on my backside. It will stop then everything will be just fine. I have had a stress test all I have slept with the heart monitor. Thanks

Hi,

Condition or the symptoms of rapid heart rate could be nonspecific, and it may not be due to any heart disease if the cardiac test is unremarkable then it is nothing to worry about cardiac illness and the feeling of heart rate could be due to anxiety, actually feeling of rapid heart rate is not the clinical symptoms that patient suppose to make, if it is the symptoms of breathing difficulty, chest pain, fatigue then it may be due to some pathology of heart.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
