General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of dizziness and palpitations with a history of diabetes type 2 I am suggesting that you have developed a hypertension
Studies have shown that patients with diabetes tend to develop hypertensive illness
In view of this please check your blood pressure and do the following test
Chest x-ray
ECG
Meanwhile please see a cardiologist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
I hope this helps
