What Causes Heart Palpitations After Taking Armour Thyroid Drug?
my daughter is 41 years old and has Hashimoto s thyroiditis, diabetes, PCOS, and Raynaud s. She is on a very high dose of Armour thyroid (3 grains) and also takes Actos . She has been experiencing heart palpitations and a racing feeling. Who should she see (endocrinologist, cardiologist etc.)?

Thyroid drug causes an increase in contractions and relaxations of the heart muscle thereby increasing the heart rate, atrial, ventricular fibrillation, heart palpitations.
