What Causes Heart Murmur Along With Fatigue?

I just found out I have a heart murmur with a leaky valve. I have had the valve problem since a year ago, but now so tired can move some days. I used to be a athlete and still would like to run and I am 69, in May 70. I just had a a eco radiogram today and hoping they can help me get my energy back, so miserable feeling. Trying to learn more about this condition and best thing to do.

I have read and understod your concern.Sorry to hear you have a heart murmur.
Fatigue is a well know manifestion of heart issues (Valvulopathies) that presennt with murmurs.Possible causes may include:
-Poorly controlled blood pressure
-Cardiomyopathy
-Rheumatismal heart disease
Only a heart ultrasound may help identify the type of valve pathology causing your symptoms. I will suggest you see a Cardiologist for evaluation, management and follow-up.In the meantime, i will advise enough rest and healthy diet.
