What Causes Hearing Sensitivity After Hearing A Loud Noise?

Yesterday morning (after all the loud fireworks over July 4th) i noticed my ears are EXTREMELY sensitive to noise. Today, my R ear is still feeling terrible, but my L ear seems to be better. Everything seems extra loud, and when I speak I seem to hear the vibration in from my voice. I can still hear out of it, but it s so sensitive. Is there ANYTHING I can do or take?? and how long will it take to go back to normal?
