What Causes Hearing Noises During Sleep While Taking Xanax And Prozac?
I am 85 years old and have been taking Xanax as a sleeping aid on a nightly basis.I also take 40 mg of Prozac daily.I have been experiencing loud banging noises on my front door constantly for over 9 months that wake me completely from my sleep. Is this something called Exploding Head Syndrome?

I don't think this can be as you call it exploding head syndrome. I think it can be because you are taking higher dosage of these drugs. Talk to your psychiatrist to possibly reduce the medications dosage.
