sorry I m dyslexic brief history of my daughter..My 5 year old daughter, a healthy little intelligent little girl. She hates what she calls loud incoming noise she struggles to cope with it. puts her hands over her ears and crys out her ears hurt. telling you i m not sure it related.. She had a never ending chest infection that lasted for 6 weeks who a persistence cough that use to keep her awake at night with coughing up loads p helm it used to make her vomit up ..she then contracted scarlet fever around 6 months ago followed by respiratory infection and croup. and has not been the same since.. she started to complain of pins and needles in her one foot. I just dismissed it, just use to rub her foot until it passed off... then it went into both feet. but as time as gone on she complains 3-5 times a day.. it happens while she in the sitting position . she does not have her feet crossed.. usually watching tv. or reading .. should I be worried about the pins and needles or the fact she struggles to cope with certain incoming noise... she has to be tested for every 3 years for the Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM) Gene her Grandmother on dads side died of HOCM.. She was diagnosed with Hyper mobility condition when we went to Geneticists 5/6 on Beighton score. they did not test all because she was too shy at the time , As I suffer from Elhers Danlos syndrome 3 9/9 on Beighton score and joint dislocations Arthritis and other syndromes related to my condition.. Dystonia and reflex sympathetic dystrophy.. TMJ trigeminal neuralgia.. I too suffer from pins and needles in my Hands as result of carpel tunnel syndrome . I also get pins and needles in my legs.but my nerves was damaged during knee surgery. I have undiagnosed P.O.T.S. waiting to be diagnosed..Balance problems . On her dads side her and his brother suffers from psoriasis arthritis and pins and needles to hands... just trying to rule out whether her pins and needles are Geneticly related to EDS/HMS or something else..
