Hello,

In this age, blood pressure is high means possibly due to secondary causes of hypertension. The secondary causes of hypertension are:

- Kidney disease
- Renal artery stenosis
- Fibromuscular Dysplasia of renal arteries
- Pheochromocytoma
- Hyperaldosteronism et cetera

Alport Syndrome also causes elevation of blood pressure. Get diagnosed by kidney biopsy which shows absence of the type IV collagen alpha-3, alpha-4 and alpha-5 chains (COL4A3, COL4A4, and COL4A5 genes).

Please consult your nephrologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
