My sister has been suffering from headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue x 10 days. Her PCP initially did bloodwork and found her to be dehydrated so they gave her 2L of IV fluids and sent her home thinking she had a virus. Two days after that doctor visit she was admitted to the hospital because her symptoms worsened. They ran bloodwork, CXR, Abd US and finally decided she had pneumonia. They put her on Levaquin and sent her home after 2 days. She felt a little better yesterday, but today is back to feeling extremely weak, and unable to get out of bed. This is day 5 on the Levaquin. My sister rarely gets sick, and it s usually mild. I m concerned that this may be more than pneumonia.
