What Causes Headache And Weight Loss After A Cortisone Injection Shot?

I had a cortisone injection in my left hip on December 23,2016 for arithis relief that I have been experiencing for six months. Two days later the pain went away, however on Dec 29th pain came back. Also for the last week I have had headaches, nausea, and weight loss. I continue to have an appetite but cannot gain my weight back and the nausea and light headedness are every day

Hi,

Single cortisone shot side effects can produce nausea, headache which can be for a short period of time ; but the weight loss would not be an issue for such case.

If steroid consumption goes on for a long period of time, then weight alteration can be a major factor of consideration.
