What Causes Headache And Stiffness And Pain In The Neck?
Our 16 year old son has been experiencing sever neck pain and stiffness with a headache for maybe 24 hours. Tonight his symptoms include a rapid heart beat and vacillating from hot to cold with no fever. He weighs 235 lbs. and weight lifts in school. In October, he was bitten by a rattlesnake and received 16 viles of anti venom but has had no symptoms since released from the hospital. He has no loss of appetite and not particularly sleepy but is resting now. Could this be related to the bite after so many months with no side effects? What course of action do you recommend?

Greetings regarding your child symptoms your child is exhibiting following a previous snake bite he has developed a condition called meningitis check out with the lab let them do a lumber puncture test meanwhile if I am your child physician I will place him on injection ceftriaxone syrup zinnat pending the outcome of the result
