What Causes Headache And Breathing Difficulty After Wisdom Tooth Extraction?

Hi, after pulling my wisdom tooth yesterday evening. I dont feel any pain other the expected soreness, but I continue to feel sickly with cough, headache and out of breath. I m usually in good health but right now I don t quite feel normal and I have never this way so I m very worried . Is this normal feeling after wisdom tooth removal?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain headache, cough and breathlessness post wisdom tooth extraction is not a normal or common finding and can be most probably due to side effect of the anaesthesia that must be given to you before the extraction procedure while the symptoms can also be due to side effects of the medication given to you post extraction..

I would suggest you to consult your dentist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation will be done..

In case if it is due to side effect of anaesthesia then the symptoms will get better gradually as the effect of anaesthesia will wean off from your body..
In case if it is due to medication then changing the medication will help..
As of now take appropriate rest, proper meals and drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
