What Causes Head Rushes And Convulsions While Coughing?

When I cough I get bad head rushes and sometimes I get convultions too I am on oxygen and have copd and high blood pressure controlled by meds. They are getting worse at first was once in awhile but this week it is several times a day. I have told my dr several times but he has done nothing to diagnose. I am afraid because they are happening more frequently. Should I be concerned?
