What Causes Head Pounding?
I have been waking up with my head pounding feels like my heart beating in my head can't move more pain in back of head it's hard for me to get up lasts about 15 min then stay with a headache all day. Happening about 3to 4 ties a month now . YYYY@YYYY

I understand your concern.
head ache on the back side that is ocipetal regionare typically is of high blood pressure secondly its of due migraine .as you didn't mentioned your age its would be easier or us..
initially go with paracetamol /ibuprofen 1000mg in divided doses its will relieve your pain
i request you to get your blood pressure checked and if BP is high star on anti hypertensive medication appropriatly
