What Causes Hard Tissue On The Jaw Bone?

I had a zit on my jaw bone and I popped it. It turned into boil and got real big. I took about 6 weeks for it to shrink down. Now there is hard tissue where the boil use to be. it is very small and does not hurt or bother me. I m wondering what it might be and if it will go away?

Hello,

I have gone through your query and it could be a scar left after healing of an infection lesion. It will reduce on its own over a period of few months. You can apply a silicon gel on it twice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
