What Causes Hard Swelling On Cheek After Falling Down?
A week ago I fell flat on my face on my left cheekbone. That area did not particularly get black and blue like much of the left side of my face, but it has a significant hard swelling about the size of a ping-pong ball. It doesn t seem to be going down in size. Do you know what this injury is called? I did go to the ER where they did three CT scans and an x-ray of the left side of my body -- nothing broken.

This could be an organised haematoma. Take pain killers for 5 days if it hurts. Apply warm packs. It should subside in few weeks.
