What Causes Hard, Red Lump On Neck?

3 days ago I developed a hard lump, red, on my neck. I lanced it when it finally developed a small whitehead. Yesterday a.m., I woke up with a second one below my chin w/ hard white head. I have lanced, cleansed, peroxide, and used ointment. I just took a good look in mirror, and the first is a white, pussy, larger head on it...about diameter of small pencil eraser, surrounded by a deeper red color. Second one isn;t looking great either, and very sensitive. What can/should I do?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The hard red lump on the neck can be because of the hair follicle infection or it can be a branchial cyst. Nothing to be panic, consult a general surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination(if you are not allergic). Once the diagnosis is confirmed, you can get it treated accordingly either by incision and drainage or by enucleation of the cyst.
