Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a hard lump at the site of drawing blood occurs commonly due to spillage of blood from the vein into the soft tissues after the blood is drawn and there is formation of a hematoma..
At times the hematoma gets localized and forms a firm and hard lump..
You need not to worry as the Hematoma will get resolved although can take some time..
I would suggest you to do cool compresses over the lump..
You can apply analgesic ointment over it..
You can also take Ibuprofen if there is pain..
Avoid continuous touching or pressing the lump as it can increase pain..
If there is no improvement in 2 weeks consult a General Physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
