What Causes Hard Cyst In The Corner Of The Nostril?

I have a small hard cyst in the corner of my nostril and it also has shown up as a small white growth on the outside of the nose adjacent to the cyst/growth or whatever is, in the nose. I went to an ENT and plastic surgeon nothing they recommended helped. I have been putting Abreva in the nostril and on the outside as well. It seems to have gotten smaller but not gone yet. Any suggestions? What could this be? Thank you

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of hard cyst in the corner of the nostril which occurs where skin get irritated . They are generally harmless and do not bother. You should get it resolved because of esthetic purpose. Need not to worry. You should not remove or peel off skin by yourself because that can cause infection in them and make the condition complicated. So get them remove only under the expert. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist/ dermatologist for proper examination and to rule out other condition like wart or a mole. Doctor will do physically examination and may take skin from them for biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may order antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications.
