What Causes Hairless Legs?

I ve only just now noticed that my lower legs seem completely hairless. I m male - don t shave for any athletic reason - and I ve never been particularly hairy. I did, however, have an issue with poor circulation earlier this year which seems to have resolved itself. Why are my legs suddenly hairless?

Hello.

I understand the concern. Thank you for reaching out. Peripheral vascular disease does affect the skin appendages, and I have noticed in my experience that this condition may result in loss of hair from the legs.

When there is blocked circulation, other minor vessels open up to make up, so you may be running on "plan b" as it were, whilst the symptoms have gone, the underlying issues may still be there, please keep in touch with your physician.
