What Causes Hair Loss Despite Taking Steroid Injection For Alopecia Areata?

hi sir.I am affected by alopecia areata , i started treatment six month before but no use and now one more doctor just me to take steroid injection and I started also with one dose , it almost 25 days and still no improvement what shall i do ,whether to continue or any other solution is there kindly help me out

regarding alopacia areata auto immune etiology necessitates steroid treatment.in your case there is no improvement with steroids.one medicine called minoxidil is available in the market that will help to grow hair when applied locally on the effected area,but once you discontinue that hair will fall off.worry also aggravates hair loss. regular balanced diet with exercise along with topical minoxidil will help in your case.
