What Causes Growing Lump On The Neck In A Child?
Hi Dr, My 2 yr old son taken 6 month treatment for primary complex. We got to find this problem through a small buldge on his side of neck. All test taken regarding that and got positive in his skin test. So started the treatment and stopped medicines after the course completed. Now the problem is we are finding buldge growing slightly. How to find whether it s treated properly (cured) or not. It will great full if u shares ur views. Thanks and Regards

Sometimes due to some known/unknown reasons, few illnesses show recurrence in a short time.
It can be due to inadequate treatment or even after complete treatment relapse is seen. To find out exact reason behind it and to know if the lump is of similar kind or not.
I would suggest you take your child to the same doctor who treated him previously. As the doctor is aware of the illness completely, he is the best one to advise you whats the right thing that can be done next.
There might be a need for some imaging tests or some other tests to check if its the same thing or different. So your doctor will suggest you all the necessary things that you should do so that its treated appropriately.
