Neurologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sometimes following surgery of the hip nerves can be affected by being impinged or surgically manipulated due to the nature of what has to be done. You may wish to see a neurologist to get an MRI of the hip and lower back to see if these nerves are actually likely affected by the hip replacement or could they be something different from the back altogether such as a herniated or bulging disk?

Thanks
