What Causes Greenish Vomit Post Gallbladder Removal?

My sister, had her gall bladder removed Wednesday. She has been in the hospital since Saturday a week ago, and has not been able to eat yet. Has tried soft diet one day, but is vomiting green bile when she tries to eat. The nurse keeps telling her she has a small intestinal blockage, due to the surgery, but I am concerned that after 5 days nothing they do seems to help. The dietitian tells her to keep trying to eat. She is very scared now to eat, for fear she will just throw up more. They continue to just take xrays everyday...what can we expect in the next few days?
