What Causes Greenish Pus From The Mole On Face?

Hello Dr. I have a mole on my face that is raised and itches occasionally,however this morning it felt wet on my face and after a light rub I noticed a greenish looking pus was coming out of it, I continued to let it drain and now it s bleeding,I ve had this mole my entire life,(40 years) and have never had this happen, what should I do? I m nervous it could be cancer.

Hi there.

This indicates infected boil. Nothing to worry. Apply Fucidin ointment to the region. Apply warm soft clean cloth to the region for relief. Take pain killer like Tablet Ibuprofen 200mg twice a day and Tablet Ciplox 500mg twice a day.
