What Causes Greenish Mucus Discharge From The Nose?

Hi, I am 77 yrs. old and have PBC. I m not to take any Nsaids and no iron intake. I seem to have sinus problems and right now probably an infection. I ve had a couple of weeks of clear discharge, now it is mixed w/light green & small amts. of blood. I d like to know what to take for relief. I ve been taking 24 hr. claritin & nasal spray once a day. I take an occasional tylenol. What over the counter meds would you recommend. Thanks sooo much!

Your suffering from acute rhinosinusitis with secondary bacterial infection.

Use tab. Augmentine 625 thrice along with that stream (water vapor) inhalation.

Continue Claritin. If symptoms not improved consult your doctor.
