Hi,

The green poop in your baby started only after starting formula feeds. Occasional green colored stool in babies on formula feeds is quite normal and a common complaint in my clinical practice. This may be due to the high iron supplement in the formula. Such babies do pretty well and continue to gain adequate weight.

However, the green color causes anxiety in the mother. Feeding with a proper size nipple and not very fast helps. In case the stools are persistently green and loose ,you need to consult your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
