What Causes Frequent Urination In A 13 Year Old?

Why do I always need the toilet??
I am a 13 year old girl; and i have this problem. When i go to school i also have to make sure that i have a toilet right before; and then now for some reason, i nearly always need to go to the toilet. I know that i can hold it for the school day until i get home but there is something me want the toilet when i don't actually really need it! Please help!

Hi there,

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. Sounds like it's making your pretty uncomfortable. The most common cause is a urinary tract infection, so I'd recommend having your parents take you to the doctor and getting your urine checked. It's a very simple test that can be done with a urine sample, and is easily treated with antibiotics.
