What Causes Frequent Urination Along With Redness And Itchiness In The Scrotum?
My scrotum is red and has a prickly feeling when my shorts brush against it. The veins are more noticable and the left testicle is larger than the right and hangs down lower. I have a urge to urinate more frequently recently. The symptoms have been ongoing for about three months.I had a momentary unsolicited mouth to general contact while getting a massage.I had an HSV test 9 weeks after this incident. The antigen level was .90. Are these symptoms possible HSV and are these antigen levels abnormally high
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
HSV level of 0.9 is considered normal, still better insight can be possible with details of report whether IgG, IgM antibody titre is evaluated or not.
As per the history of exposure and present symptoms, chances of HSV infection are high on clinical grounds.
