What Causes Frequent Nausea On Ingestion?

my boyfriend is very nauseous, and is lying down and has water to drink. is there anything else i can do to help ease him? it's most likely brought upon by food-- this isn't the first occasion this has happened. And it seems to be occurring more and more frequently lately, but he's not necessarily eating the kinds of foods that would upset him. what could this mean?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Some advices that I can give to you are:

-Get a lot of rest and take it easy.
-Stay hydrated.
- Take small sips of cold, clear, carbonated or sour drinks, such as ginger ale, lemonade, water, or mint tea.
-Gradually begin to eat easy-to-digest food such as soda crackers, toast, bananas, rice, and chicken.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question I’ll be glad to help.
