What Causes Frequent Headaches With Facial Numbness And Tingling?

I am a 20 year old college student currently in the middle of a very stressful semester. For about two weeks, i have been suffering from frequent headaches in the front right quarter of my cranium. They are sudden, throb painfully for a minute or two, and then go away. Yesterday, I started experiencing facial numbness, which was interrmittent, like the headaches. Today, the right side of my face, from my nose to my cheek down to the bottom ridge of my mandible, has been superficially numb. I went to a physician today and was diagnoses with trigeminal neuralgia, and I disagree with this diagnosis as I am only 20 and am experiencing no pain,b only tingling and numbness. Also, I have had swollen tonsils and sinus infections for the past month. What are your thoughts?
