General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
In my opinion increased bowel movements may be due to intestinal infection.
A short course of oral probiotics twice a day for 5-6 days should take care of the problem.
Avoidance of milk and tea, coffee for next 3-4 days should also be helpful.
However if probiotics do not help then a oral antibiotics may be considered.
I find this answer helpful
