What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements With Abdominal Pressure During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 35 week pregnant and 2 days, i have been facing frequent bowl movements which is not loose, and increased pressure downon my abdoman and lower backache, this is my third baby i have premature deliveries in the past, and have been prescibed a complete bed rest to prolong the term, is it normal?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion pressure in abdomen along with backache might need pervaginal examination by gynaecologist to rule out preterm labour.As you have past history of preterm labours it need to be ruled out.It might also be due to stomach bug .But anything is confirmed only after examination.Take adequate fluids to avoid dehydration.
