What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements In A Toddler?

My toddler has been having constant tiny bowel movements that are so sticky. It seems she goes and as soon as we change her (whether it s 10 minutes or 60) she goes a little again. The constant wiping is making her so sore she cries. She gets lots of fluids each day (mostly water). Is there something causing this? Should I take her to her pediatrician?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she is suffering from diarrhea.

You can consult her pediatrician if possible. I can recommend you Simethicone and probiotic like Enterogermina to establish the intestinal flora. Keep her hydrated. A zinc oxide ointment such Sudocream can help her skin dry and helps to heal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
