General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Diarrhea in very young kids is due to virus so there is exactly no drug treatment but as your son has lost so much fluid, it is necessary to replace with oral rehydraion solution ASAP.

And don't worry rehydration is the best treatment in cases of diarrhea in children.

If your son's condition persists or worsens, please consult a pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
