What Causes Frequent Bouts Of Severe Cold With Sinusitis?

I get frequent bouts of rhinitis/.severe cold with sinusitis.I take Cefadexime 500 for 10 days.Inspite of that my nasal passage is still blocked with lot of discharge from blowing the nose.what is the reason for this prolonged symptoms of cold and sinus continuing inspite of taking these antibiotics.I use ortrovin drops to decongest my nose.Pls suggest alternative medications for my symptoms. Mr Nair Age 62 yrs

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the rhinitis then it could be due to some allergic condition and it may not be infection that could needs antibiotic, I would suggest to have Tab Loratadine with Pseudoephedrine, three times in day, have more hot drinks, try steam inhalation, hope this information helps.
