What Causes Frantic Movement In The Womb During Pregnancy?

My daugher is in her 8th month and for the last 30 or so minutes the baby has been moving quite franiticly what does this mean? Could he be having problems with the cord? He is still moving but more normally now...L & D nurse says not to worry. Our first and a little scarey

I can understand your concern for your baby very well.
In short and simple words, these kind of fetal movements are absolutely normal and you should not be worried much about it. Growing fetus is trying to adjust in your womb and in doing so, it will have such kind of movements, so no need to worry about it.
