What Causes Foul Taste And Vomiting?

hi, ive been sick this morning and after throwing up everything i ate and then even the water i tried to drink i was dry heaving. then half hour later i threw up a purply grey colour that had a really fowl taste and not just the normal vomit taste. what could cause this?
