My urine is very smelly and I sometimes have problems passing urine having to squeeze it out. Tests show negative for infection. I categorise twice a week passing from 650ml to over a litre What can be the cause of this odour. It is very embarrassing as the smell permeates the house

Many a time due to intake of less water and having more perspiration there can be having scanty urine and concentrated urine giving foul smell.
It is advisable to go for kidney function tests like blood urea, S. creatinie etc.
Take plenty of water.
