What Causes Foot Cramps While On Levothyroxine?

I had a total thyroidectomy in 2005 and have been on levothyroxine .88 and 1 mcg every other day since with good results. Lately I have been having foot cramping at night...could my thyroid level be off? I ve also been having a much harder time keeping my weight down lately (eating the same) I m a 66 yo wf

Total thyroidectomy can lead to calcium deficiency and hence cramps. Get serum calcium levels done. and take calcium supplements regularly.
