Hi. I follow with a Cardiologist for CAD, Hypertension and Atrial Tachycardia. Recently I ve noticed after drinking ice water, my heart starts to flutter. I ve taken my BP and it is very low, for me. 90/55. Pulse 45. My pulse is lower all the time, but at 60 though. Is this some thing I should my Cardiologist with? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your complaints may be caused either by arrhythmia or by anxiety.
I would advise you to undergo 24 hour ECG Holter monitoring, so your doctor may see what's going on when you have a complaint, only by this examination we can be a 100% sure if it is arrhythmia or just anxiety.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
