What Causes Fluttering In Upper Abdomen Post Intake Of Z-pak?

i have had a terrible sinus infection caused by allergies for about a month - I went tot he doctor and have been taking over the counter meds as prescribed - a decongestant and cough medicine mainly. When that wasn t helping he gave me a Z-pak. It has now been about a week since I finished the z-pak - I feel alot better - but I now have a kind of fluttering in my upper left abdomin area? Could that be a reaction to all the meds or should I just relax and it will go away?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the abnormal sensation is related to the medications used or the illness itself.

It will likely resolve within a few days.

If you remain concerned or the symptoms do not improve, then you would need to see your doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
